Microsoft’s 1st Nokia-free Lumia out Nov. 11 – report
Microsoft may unveil as early as November 11 its first Lumia phone minus the Nokia branding, a tech site reported this week.
Teaser shots hint no major design change for the Microsoft Lumia from past Nokia Lumia phones, The Next Web reported.
It said the only apparent changes include a Microsoft logo on the front "underneath the earpiece and in a stripe on the back."
Last month, Microsoft announced its new Lumia branding, following its acquisition of Nokia's mobile phone business.
On the other hand, The Next Web said details on the features of the first Microsoft-branded Lumia are still sketchy.
However, it cited a submission to Chinese regulators indicate specs such as a five-inch qHD display, a 1.2GHz processor, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB storage. — Joel Locsin/BM, GMA News
