The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced nominees on Thursday for the Emmy Awards, television's highest honors.
The Emmy winners will be announced at a ceremony on Sept. 20 in Los Angeles.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus, comedy actress nominee for "Veep": "As President, my staff and I are too busy doing the people's business to watch television. Nonetheless, we are thrilled to be a part of this celebration of creativity. (Go Jon Hamm!)"
Elisabeth Moss, drama actress nominee for "Mad Men": "This is truly the most amazing surprise! I am so lucky to have been a part of "Mad Men" and to have played such a wonderful character like Peggy. Being recognized like this when there are so many other ridiculously talented women on TV right now is incredibly humbling. I am ecstatic for the rest of my "Mad Men" family who also got recognized and can't wait to celebrate with them in September!"
Jenji Kohan, creator of drama series nominee "Orange Is the New Black": "We're proud to be the misfits who don't fit in—comedy, drama, nobody knows what to do with us ... and we like it that way. No matter what you call us, we're honored to be recognized by the Academy with this nomination. On behalf of the entire cast, the writers, producers and crew, and so many others that work tirelessly on this show, this is really cool and we thank you."
Jane Lynch, reality show host nominee for "Hollywood Game Night": "I couldn't be more honored with this nomination or more grateful to all the celebrities and regular folk who show up every week game to play! And almost certainly make a fool out of themselves."
Beau Willimon, executive producer and creator of drama series nominee "House of Cards," starring Kevin Spacey, Robin Wright and Michael Kelly:
"Everyone at "House of Cards" is thrilled by our nominations. Kevin, Robin and Michael were all on set when we found out. That triumvirate poured themselves into Season 3, along with all the folks behind the camera who make this show what it is. I'm especially happy for Michael Kelly. This is his

Jessica Lange, actress in a limited series nominee for "American Horror Story: Freak Show":

Jimmy Fallon, whose "Tonight Show" is a variety talk series nominee: "So honored to be nominated for an Emmy. I love being part of the American tradition of late-night comedy ... that people watch the next day on their phone after a brief yogurt commercial."
Bob Odenkirk, drama actor nominee for "Better Call Saul":
"I am truly blown away at this nomination. I am grateful to Vince, Peter, and the writing staff. Joanne Froggatt, supporting actress nominee for "Downton Abbey":

We feel really lucky to receive this directing nomination, but even luckier to work with such a talented group of actors, writers, editors and filmmakers as we did on "Last Man," including our fellow nominee editor Stacey Schroeder.
