Taylor Swift broke up with Harris ‘over the phone’–reports

American pop star Taylor Swift broke up with ex-beau Scottish DJ Calvin Harris in a most bizarre and peculiar way–through a phone call, similar to what pop boy band Jonas Brothers’ member, Joe Jonas, did to her a few years ago.

According to reports from Daily Mail and entertainment news site TMZ, Swift, 26, called it quits with Harris, 32, when she phoned him while he was “recovering from a horrifying car crash” on May 20 in Los Angeles, California, in the US.

This is strikingly similar to how Jonas left her in a 25-second phone call in 2008. In an interview with TV talk show host Ellen DeGeneres in the same year, Swift recounted her distressing experience.

“When I find that person that is right for me, he’ll be wonderful. And when I look at that person, I’m not even gonna be able to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18,” she narrated to Ellen.

Sources scooped to TMZ that the pop star “was vague during the call, only saying she needed some space.” Harris was allegedly thunderstruck as he had reportedly thought that she “was in it for the long haul and wanted to help him recover.”

Contrary to the juicy claims, another insider divulged that Swift ran to Los Angeles to be at her former lover’s side.

UK’s Prince William to appear in gay mag; first in family

United Kingdom’s Prince William will be the next face of a gay magazine, the first in the British Royal Family to do so.

According to reports by the Telegraph and Daily Mail, The Duke of Cambridge revealed to a staff member at the United States Embassy in London on Tuesday that he would be interviewed in UK’s leading gay magazine, Attitude. It is noted that even his mother, the late Princess Diana, a well-respected advocate of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) rights, never granted any interviews to a gay magazine or publication.

Craig Petty, president of LGBT association Glifaa, affirmed the Duke’s appearance at Attitude.

“I told him what I do and he said he’s going to be in Attitude magazine,” he detailed to the British press. “I was really nervous about meeting the royal couple, but they are both great at putting you at ease.”

He, together with the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, were present for a book signing in memory of the 49 people massacred at Pulse gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida. He will utilize his magazine spread exposure as an integral tool to campaign against LGBT bullying, which is one of his main platforms.

Other high-profile cover stars of the gay mag, which was established in 1994, include Gary Barlow, Daniel Radcliffe, David Beckham, and Liam Payne. Most of the magazine’s articles tackle contemporary LGBT issues such as male rape and discrimination.
