WATCH: Pia Wurtzbach attends Vic-Pauleen wedding

For weeks, people have speculated if Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach would be able to attend the wedding of her best friend Pauleen Luna with comedian-host Vic Sotto given her incredibly busy schedule.

On Saturday, hours before Sotto and Luna’s wedding, Wurtzbach put the speculations to rest by posting on her Instagram account a video of her riding a car with other members of the entourage. She is one of the bridesmaids in the wedding.

“I am so excited to see my best friend get married,” Wurtzbach exclaimed on the video.

Wurtzbach and Luna started their showbiz careers as teenagers, paving the way for years of friendship.

When Wurtzbach won the Miss Universe title in December, Luna reminisced about their bond.

“I remember we would choose to buy food in Mini Stop instead of Brother’s Burger in ABS because we only had little money. We would patiently go to workshop every single day because we wanna be big stars!… I will never forget those days. Simple and days made up of dreams,” Luna posted on her Instagram account.

Sotto, 61, and Luna, 27, are slated to tie the knot on Saturday evening at St. James the Great Parish in Ayala, Alabang.

They got engaged in September 2015.

Wurtzbach is in the Philippines for her grand homecoming. She had asked the Miss Universe Organization to allow her to extend her stay to attend to personal matters. IDL

Vic Sotto on marrying Pauleen Luna: 'Suwerte, suwerte lang'

Kinumpirma ng Eat Bulaga host na si Vic Sotto kamakailan lang na engaged na sila ng kanyang longtime girlfriend at fiancée na si Pauleen Luna.

Dahil sa masayang pangyayari na iyon, may mga ilang detalye na lumabas tungkol sa magiging kasal ng dalawa ngunit pinabulaan ito ni Bossing, lalong-lalo na ang diumanoy wedding date.

“’Di ko alam sa’n galing ang mga detalye. Before the Year of the Goat ends, wala pa naman kaming final na plano talaga,” saad ng komedyante sa report ng Unang Hirit.


Hindi rin daw magiging malaki ang magaganap na kasalan. Aniya, “Kami ni Pauleen, we’re not into big [or] talagang engrande [na kasal]. Sakto lang [basta andun ang mga] kaibigan [at] family.”

Kasalukuyang nasa States ang dalaga para dumalo sa kasal ng kanyang kaibigan at lantaran na ipinahayag sa publiko na nami-miss niya ang kanyang fiancé.

Ano naman kaya ang masasabi ni Bossing sa nalalapit nilang kasal? “For me, I’m excited! Of course, I feel very thankful and suwerte. Suwerte, suwerte lang!” pagtatapos ni Vic.
