What draws people to virtual reality is the prospect of being able to experience a fantastical scenario as if it were really happening. According to VentureBeat, a Melbourne-based company called Zero Latency VR is about to take it up a notch higher when it comes to providing an immersive virtual reality experience.
The company is planning to have multiple players walk around a space wearing head-mounted displays and tracking equipment. Prominent game publisher SEGA is more than happy to make this a reality. Zero Latency is about to make a permanent installation in Japan.
Players will be able to “play” in a variety of modes including fighting waves of zombies in a simulated building.
