Unlike her previous roles in Sisid and Kasalanan Bang Ibigin Ka?, sexy Kapuso actress Jackie Rice will be playing a supporting role in the upcoming series Innamorata. The latest Afternoon Prime offering of the Kapuso network is headlined by Max Collins, who will play the role of Esperanza, with Jackie being Esperanza's stepsister Gina.
In an interview during the show's story conference, Jackie made it clear that she is not choosy when it comes to her roles. She says she'd rather keep herself busy with work instead of waiting for a lead role.
"Actually nung kinakausap nila ako kung ano ang gusto ko, ang gusto ko trabaho lang. Walang bida or kontrabida or support. Basta work, okay ako," she shared.
Mas mahalaga daw para kay Jackie na maganda at challenging ang roles na natatanggap niya. "Mas hindi ako sa fame eh. Mas gusto ko 'yung challenging, 'yung nakikilala ang character ko every time may pino-portray ako."
Here in Innamorata, Jackie is an aspiring model who will do anything and everything to get what she wants. "Gusto kong sumikat, yumaman, lahat na. Aagawin ko rin ang mahal niya [Esperanza] kasi may gusto rin ako sa love niya."
Esperanza's love interest will be played by Kapuso actor Luis Alandy.
Hindi naman first time ni Jackie na maging model sa isang soap, pero pinaghahanadaan pa rin daw niya ito nang husto. Aside from attending a series of workshops that begins this week, she is planning to go on a shopping spree for her character's wardrobe.
