Instant videos now available to Viber users

Viber has launched a new video feature to its standard video, voice, and chat functionality. Users will now be able to send instant videos within the chat window.

The new functionality has been integrated into the chat window and can be accessed by swiping the voice message button. Videos are limited to only 30 seconds, cropped into a circular shape, and has no expiration date, reports The Next Web.

Apart from video chat, the update also gives Viber further integration with third-party services. These include Wikipedia, TheMovieDB, and Giphy. Emoticons have also been redesigned.

Michael Shmilov, COO of Viber, said “With the addition of Chat Extensions, people can now access a variety of external services directly from their chat screen, search, and instantly share content with their friends.” Alfred Bayle
