Google welcomes start of World Cup festivities with doodle
Google is taking part in the festivities marking the start of the 2014 FIFA World Cup as it posted an animated doodle on its home page.
Visitors to Google.com were greeted with an animated doodle with a dancing "l" and the "e" playing the drums.
"Yes, we’ll take a little samba with our #WorldCup opening ceremony," Google said in a tweet.
As in the past, clicking on the doodle will take the visitor to a Search Results page for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
The FIFA World Cup is an international men's football tournament that started early Friday (PHL time) and will end on July 13.
